Safetydrape.com is now MitigationTechnologies.com.

Mitigation Technologies’ premier product, Safetydrape®, quickly grew into a household name. This extreme branding resulted in the proliferation of Safetydrape®’s name without much knowledge of Mitigation Technologies as the manufacturer.

This year, Mitigation Technologies launched four new product lines, creating the paramount need to drop the catch-all Safetydrape® title and highlight Mitigation Technologies as a manufacturing company that provides multiple security products. The company’s new product lines include: EMI/RFI Shielding, Safetywire™, and Safetymesh™. Additionally, we are in the initial production stages of a technology called GreenLight which interfaces thermal imaging with laser projection.

Mitigation Technologies is still your source for the Safetydrape® Blast Curtain, which is distributed world-wide through our network of dealers. Please acquaint yourself with our new product lines and we look forward to working with you soon.

Blast Curtain - A Glass Hazard Mitigation Window Drapery System.

Safetydrape® captures and contains the flying window glass propelled by an external explosion. DHS SAFETY Act approved. Available on GSA Contract.

EMI/RFI Shielding - An Anti Eavesdropping Countermeasure.

Each EMI/RFI Shielding model provides a high level of radio frequency attenuation. Tested by an independent NAVLAB A2LA accredited lab which meets NSA requirements.

Blast and Ballistic Structure Reinforcing Composites

For use as blast mats, ballistic reinforcement, tent liners, RPG resistant nets, fragmentation control, and structure reinforcement.

In total darkness, subjects in range of the device can be viewed with the naked eye. Life forms are detected by a thermal sensor and then are illuminated by a green laser projection. This projection allows whatever is sensed to be viewed by the naked eye. When applied to industries such as Night Vision, Perimeter Detection, and Search and Rescue, the projection’s “glow in the dark” effect would increase efficiency, reduce response time, and save more lives.

NEWS

2/1/07- Launched Safetywire™ and Safetymesh™ as Blast and Ballistic Structure Reinforcing Composites.

8/1/07 - Launched EMI/RFI Shielding.

10/15/07 - Safetydrape® now available with an Anti-Microbial finish for applications in the medical industry.

1/19/07 - The Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC 40-010-01) for DOD published a change that explicitly provides for the use of blast curtains in a variety of circumstances including leased facilities.

6/21/06 - PA Historical Society states that Safetydrape® blast curtains conform to the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation and Guidelines for Rehabilitating Historic Buildings. Since window film cannot be anchored to historic windows, Safetydrape® blast curtains should be the first choice to protect historic buildings from window blast damage.
